ENGINEERED FROM THE GROUND UP
Features you don't see when you first examine an Econmobile include modern 100% hydraulic power steering (no mechanical connections), hydraulic brakes, automatic self-leveling, steering wheels that track for maximum traction, smooth application of power, and low center of gravity for stability and precision handling of heavy loads.
Econmobile has planetary double reduction axle with full floating axle shafts. With this system, wheels are bolted to hubs making it impossible to lose a wheel. The water cooled torque converter not only multiplies torque but gives the ability to inch the machine without clutch slippage.
UNIVERSAL JOINT PUMP COUPLING
Good for the life of the machine, this compact roller bearing universal eliminates the hard wear factors of the usual sprocket and chain mechanism and takes care of any alignment problem.
BORG & BECK TORQUE CONVERTER
Properly matched to a high-speed, industrial engine, gives smoother application of power, speeds job cycles, permits optimum engine efficiency, cushions drive-line components for longer life, prevents engine lugging and stalling, helps eliminate operator fatigue and gives better control of speed from a crawl to a run.
EATON PLANETARY DOUBLE REDUCTION AXLE
Designed for fast applications, unlike bull gear differential assembly of a farm tractor axle. This unique, full-floating planetary axle is the closest thing to planetary drive at the hub. Quality alloy steel shafts are induction hardened for superior wear.
NOSPIN DIFFERENTIAL
Gives you differential action and at the same time furnishes driving power for both wheels. Prevents wheel-spin when one wheel loses traction. It's another reason why Econmobiles can go under any conditions.
Integrated design places Econmobile in a mechanical structural class by itself. The Econmobile's heavy duty frame and matched components are specifically engineered to meet the extreme stresses encountered on construction sites.
