EXPO HOST CITY
Historic Atlanta, Georgia host city, Colonel Oliver North keynote speaker at MCAA Annual Conference and Masonry Expo '94
DETAILED PLANNING is underway for Masonry Expo '94, which this year is expected to double in size, combining with the industry's quadrennial Machinery and Equipment Show, to be held in Atlanta, Georgia, February 26-28, 1994.
The theme for the huge exposition, which will combine with an expanded list of educational programs and seminars, as well as annual conventions of the Mason Contractors Association of America, the National Concrete Masonry Association and The Masonry Society, will be "Tomorrow's Technology Today."
The expo theme is intended to focus attention on the fact that the masonry industry is, and intends to remain at the cutting edge of technology. For members of the industry it will be an opportunity to see the technology that will lead into the future, as well as learn how to cope with the changes that are ahead.
The expo is expected to attract more than 5.000 industry leaders from the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central and South America and from some nineteen other nations from around the world. Attendees will include mason contractors, engineers, architects, educators, concrete block and paver producers and brick manufacturers and distributors.
Educational seminars will provide the latest information on new developments from a wide range of industry experts. Speakers will address many of the critical issues in the industry today, and will provide new insight into such challenges as sales and marketing, seeking new opportunities, solving technical and management problems and developing effective quality control strategies. Colonel Oliver North, USMC (Ret), will be the keynote speaker at the joint NCMA-MCAA session.
Atlanta, Georgia offers convention visitors a wide variety of dining, entertainment and cultural experiences. Music, drama and visual arts and nightclubs, jazz clubs, pubs, dancing spots, cabarets, comedy clubs and the like are scattered throughout the city. The symphony and ballet will offer performances during the expo.
ATLANTA, GEORGIA is one of the south's most exciting cities, offering visitors some of the finest dining, shopping, cultural, entertainment and sightseeing opportunities.
THE ROSWELL COMMUNITY, founded in 1830, located in the North Atlanta metropolitan area, contains many historic antebellum houses.
