Dexter + Chaney Partners With TopBuilder Solutions

Words: David BenincasaDexter + Chaney, the leader in cloud-based construction ERP software and developer of Spectrum® Construction Software, is pleased to announce a technology partnership with Houston, Texas-based TopBuilder Solutions to integrate its leading-edge customer relationship management (CRM) solution with Spectrum.

TopBuilder’s functionality was designed to meet the needs of the construction industry. It will complement Spectrum by providing the ability to create, track and close opportunities with existing clients as well as develop new leads from prospects with its cloud-based CRM solution.

Through its seamless and bi-directional integration with Spectrum, contractors are able to have a 360-degree view of their clients from bid history to real-time views of their accounts and financials represented in Spectrum. Contractors develop the opportunities in TopBuilder and, when signed, are able to trigger new jobs in Spectrum. Conversely, new workflows can be started once those jobs are completed in Spectrum. “This type of integration is essential for maximizing every opportunity,” said Erik Cofield, Industry Strategist, and Executive Vice President of TopBuilder Solutions.

“Being able to offer a truly integrated single system, from dirt to warranty, and to include the processes of managing suspects to prospects to customers to referrals, with accounting and full business management, is critical for contractors and clearly provides them the ability to out-position their competition,” Cofield, said. “For a builder to have one system of record, no finger pointing, and a team all moving in the same direction at the same time is critical to profitability.”

The exclusive, bi-directional integration saves time and reduces errors from duplicate entries. In addition, the ability to transfer customer information from Spectrum back into TopBuilder Solutions allows for the automated delivery of satisfaction surveys, referral campaigns, warranty follow-ups, and more for a complete sales delivery and customer retention cycle.

“TopBuilder’s construction industry focus along with its cloud-based platform and ability to seamlessly integrate with Spectrum were key drivers in striking this partnership,” said Scott Rosenbloom, Vice President of Strategy at Dexter + Chaney. “Having an easy way for our clients to process leads and opportunities through to signed orders gives our mutual clients the fidelity, visibility and control required in today’s competitive environment.”
