Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) Webinar

The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is a federal law requiring many employers to provide eligible employees with job-protected leave for qualified medical and family reasons. Employees may take FMLA leave for their own serious health conditions, to care for certain family members with serious health conditions, and to welcome children into their household.

The statutory rules governing FMLA leave can be quite complex. In this webinar, we will address the following questions:
  • Who is a covered employer?
  • Who is an eligible employee?
  • What are the reasons for which an eligible employee may take leave?
  • What is a serious health condition?
  • How much leave may be taken in a year?
  • How may leave be taken?
  • What are the employee and employer notice requirements?
