Masonry Supply Exec Reaches the Top
For the second time in four years, David A. Rothberg, vice president of Laticrete International, Bethany, Conn., has reached a mountaineering milestone. Rothberg was part of an expedition that recently scaled the highest point in the Western Hemisphere-Aconcagua. He is shown planting his company's flag at the summit.

Rothberg and 15 members of the National Outdoor Leadership School of Lander, Wyo., were successful in their first attempt to climb the 23,000 ft. Argentinian peak. Located in the Andes, Aconcagua is notorious for its high winds and and blinding "white-outs." The climb was co-sponsored by Laticrete, which has a successful job history in Argentina and 45 other countries.

Rothberg's previous major ascent occurred in 1981 when he and two others reached the summit of North America's highest point-20.320 ft. Mt. McKinley.
