"With the new 544 materials handler, we put our money where the muscle is."
Barry Phillips
President
The Gradall Company

Our new Gradall Model 544 Materials Handler has a capacity of 10,000 pounds, provides 33 feet of horizontal reach and gives you 48 feet of vertical lift. In fact, it will lift 4,000 pounds up five full stories. And it does it with a fourth boom section that extends automatically. That's muscle.

But muscle in a materials handler doesn't amount to anything without maneuverability. The kind of maneuverability you get with our 90° Rear Pivot Steering. The 544 has a turning radius that's less than the length of the chassis. It's a four-wheel drive machine with unsurpassed ground clearance and the ability to climb steep slopes and travel in deep mud. And, under 8 foot tall, the 544 has a low center of gravity and long wheelbase to enhance stability. Outriggers are standard, providing additional stability and capacity when needed.

Quick Switch attachments give the 544 outstanding versatility. In addition to standard forks we're offering a vertical mast, instant hook, and light materials bucket. Swing Forks are also available for handling long, awkward loads with ease and facilitating exact positioning of materials at the job site.

In todays competitive marketplace, everyone is looking for greater productivity and improved performance. You'll get it with the new Gradall 544 Materials Handler. It's a new machine, of course, but it has been designed and built with components that have been field tested and time proven on our popular Model 534. Get the details.
