Arch forms in this broad size range can also be used horizontally as a form for tilt-up concrete arches. The device is easy to handle and adjust, yet sturdy in construction. The product has already proven itself in the harsh environment of the construction site. The elegant simplicity of the mechanisms provides ease of use and durability. The manufacturer claims the device can pay for itself after only 10 forms.

The MultiArc®, as the product is called, originated when the cost analyst and the project manager of an Austrian construction company questioned the high cost and delays considered unavoidable in the construction of arches. The two contractors together with a designer with a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering set out to find an alternative. The straightforward, yet technically sophisticated solution they arrived at after two years of research and development is now patented, streamlined, safety approved and being marketed in Europe and North America. The manufacturer is also developing models for gothic and segment arches, as well as a heavy-duty model for on-site poured concrete arches.
