Playful environment using integrating landscape into the building. Wide pallet of masonry materials. The use of colors and textures in the steps is extremely strong. This project has a masonry sculpture. The use of slick surfaces on the inside depicts the speed of movement while the use of textured warm environmental materials on the exterior expresses a slow warm environment to wait for trains. This project depicts a strong team effort between architect, landscape architects and the contractors.

This project is a mason's dream. The level of workmanship is well executed. Selection of materials is extremely well done. Detailing is consistent. A well designed project that shows a good use of materials and what can be done with them. It embodies all of the elements of what we think a clock tower should be. A fun project.

This project is an expressive project utilizing very traditional uses of masonry design with a very strong inviting presence. It encompasses a clean use of color and a good use of window treatments. The use of arches and the patterns of the outdoor pathways invite people inside.

Capitol Projects Office
The level of conduction among the team to deliver this project was very intricate. They accomplished their goal of matching the very ornate use of masonry and cast stone on the older existing building to the new construction.
