The MAF Did it Again...

We had a great turn out, and the following is a summary of the weekend events:

On Thursday 9th, we had our Masonry Association of Florida, Inc., Annual meeting followed by a Masonry Association of Florida, Inc., Board meeting.

On Friday 10th, we had our Annual Apprentice Skills Competition, and there were 3 levels of Apprentices, 1st, 2nd & 3rd year.

The competitions were followed by an Educational Seminar, by Glenn Clapper AIA, from Brick Southeast, whereby he did a presentation on Building “GREEN” with Masonry, we ended the night with dinner and a presentation by guest speaker Lynn Donohue and Apprentice Awards Presentation.

On Saturday 11th, we had a Golf Tournament at Longboat Key Club, followed by a reception, Silent Auction and Annual Award Dinner hosted by MAF State President Salvatore Anastasi II, and the categories and winners were as follow:
