Hydro Mobile Changes Distribution Network

Words: Vincent DequoyHydro Mobile announced TNT Equipment will no longer distribute Hydro Mobile equipment. Hydro Mobile was informed that TNT Equipment has engaged a business relationship with one of their competitors to develop copies of Hydro Mobile system. Hydro Mobile will be taking the necessary steps to address this distribution issue.

"In the recent months, Hydro Mobile and TNT's market perception and business priorities were growing further apart," says Vincent Dequoy, president of Hydro Mobile.

In an effort to focus mainly on the price point of the product and move away from a value added offer, TNT is collaborating with a Hydro Mobile competitor in order to develop a new product that would be manufactured in China.

"The strong tendency in the manufacturing industry to subcontract production in China in order to increase competitiveness does not always best serve the end users," says Dequoy. "Past experiences, in similar situations, have resulted in failure and have proven to be unsuccessful."

In an effort to maintain safety, quality and quick availability of Hydro Mobile products, the company continues to believe that manufacturing in North America remains the best decision for their business and ultimately for their customers.

This change in Hydro Mobile's distribution network may affect the following areas: Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia, Texas, Florida and parts of Indiana. Hydro Mobile is actively looking for dedicated dealers to cover these specifics areas. Meanwhile, customers in these designated states are strongly encouraged to directly contact Hydro Mobile, 877-484-9376 or customer@hydro-mobile.com for any order or customer support concerns.
