John A. "Jack" West has been named president of Genstar Cement & Lime Co., San Francisco, Calif., replacing Mel London, who retired.

Greg Webb has joined Laticrete International, Inc. as technical sales rep for northern Florida.

Design Materials, Denver, Colo., and Ceramic Designs, Salt Lake City, Utah, have been appointed distributors of Buchtal USA's line of architectural ceramic tile products. Buchtal USA is the U.S. subsidiary of a leading German manufacturer of glazed and unglazed ceramic tile.
